Chairman Lu Jie Holds Talks with Leaders of Relevant Kazakhstani Government Departments

On July 26th, Lu Jie, Chairman and President of the Group, held talks with Mr. Zhaslan Madiyev, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, in Shanghai. The two sides exchanged views on advancing cooperation in communication infrastructure construction projects in Kazakhstan. Hu Longke, Vice President of the Group, President of the International Company and General Manager of the International Department, and Feng Kan, General Manager of Regional Markets of the International Department, attended the talks.
During the talks, on behalf of the company, General Manager Feng focused on introducing Guodong's business scale, development strategy and the progress of its business in Kazakhstan. Mr. Madiyev first highly recognized the achievements made by Guodong, and stated that he would actively support Guodong in carrying out construction in Kazakhstan to help improve the local communication coverage and digital construction. Chairman Lu Jie pointed out that Kazakhstan is an important target market for Guodong's overseas expansion. Guodong will follow the pace of the national "Belt and Road" initiative, and with a more pragmatic attitude and more effective actions, help enhance the local digitalization level and contribute Guodong's wisdom and strength to the development of Kazakhstan's communications industry.
